The Merit Brass 150 lb lead-free fitting is a 4" threaded companion flange with NPT female connections, designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These red brass fittings have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., conforming to ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings offer superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and the material's relative softness allows for easy installation and a tight seal. Primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, these brass fittings are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam systems.
