The Merit Brass 250 lb lead free fitting is a 1" tee with NPT female connections, made from red brass suitable for low-pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These fittings have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., and comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The red brass material offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and its relative softness facilitates easy installation and a tight seal. These brass fittings are primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, as well as in oil, gas, and steam systems.
