Merit Brass 250 lb lead free fitting 1" union NPT female red brass fittings are designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These fittings have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. They offer superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and their relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. While primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, these brass fittings are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam applications.
