The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting is a 3/4" cross NPT female, designed for low-pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). This red brass fitting has pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., and it complies with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. Its superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, combined with the material's relative softness, facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. These brass fittings are primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, as well as in oil, gas, and steam applications.
