The Merit Brass 250 lb Lead Free Fitting 1/4" Union NPT Female Red Brass fittings are designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). They have pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., conforming to ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. These fittings provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and their relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal.
