The Merit Brass 250 lb lead-free fitting is a 2" 90 degree elbow with NPT female threads. Made from red brass, these fittings are designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). They have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., and comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The red brass material offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and its relative softness allows for easy installation and a tight seal. These fittings are primarily used in commercial plumbing and OEM applications for water but are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam applications.
