Thermaflex M-KE HVAC ducts are designed with a vinyl coated spring steel wire coil construction, making them suitable for low to medium pressure heating and cooling environments. The ducts feature a core bonded to the steel wire coil, which supports fiberglass insulation and is available in three different R-values: R-4.2, R-6.0, and R-8.0, allowing for varied thickness. An acoustically rated polyethylene inner liner effectively reduces noise and facilitates easy expansion. The spiral ducts are mold and mildew resistant and operate within a temperature range of -20°F to 200°F, with an intermittent range of -20°F to 250°F. The inner core is self-extinguishing, and the ducts are available in diameters ranging from 4 to 20 inches. Additionally, these ducts are Greenguard certified and come with a 10-year limited warranty.
