Thermaflex M-KE HVAC ducts feature a vinyl coated spring steel wire coil construction suitable for low to medium pressure heating and cooling environments. The kit includes duct insulation available in three different R-values: R-4.2, R-6.0, and R-8.0, which correspond to varied thicknesses. These highly efficient flex ducts have a core that is bonded to the steel wire coil to support the fiberglass insulation. The acoustically rated polyethylene inner liner helps eliminate noise and allows for easy expansion, while the spiral ducts are mold and mildew resistant. The temperature range for these ducts spans from -20°F to 200°F, with an intermittent range of -20°F to 250°F. Notably, the inner core is self-extinguishing, and the ducts come in diameters ranging from 4 inches to 20 inches. Additionally, these ducts are GREENGUARD certified and include a 10-year limited warranty.
