Thermaflex M-KE HVAC ducts feature a vinyl coated spring steel wire coil construction, making them suitable for low to medium pressure heating and cooling environments. The ducts have a core that is bonded to the steel wire coil, providing support for the fiberglass insulation, which is available in three different R-values: R-4.2, R-6.0, and R-8.0, catering to varied thickness requirements. These flex ducts include an acoustically rated, polyethylene inner liner that minimizes noise and allows for easy expansion. Additionally, the spiral ducts are resistant to mold and mildew, with a temperature range of -20°F to 200°F and -20°F to 250°F for intermittent use. The inner core is self-extinguishing, and the ducts come in diameters ranging from 4 to 20 inches. They are Greenguard certified and are backed by a 10-year limited warranty.
