Thermaflex M-KE HVAC ducts are constructed with a vinyl coated spring steel wire coil, making them suitable for low to medium pressure heating and cooling environments. These flex ducts are designed with a core that is bonded to the steel wire coil to support fiberglass insulation, and duct insulation is offered in three different R-values for various thicknesses: R-4.2, R-6.0, and R-8.0. The polyethylene inner liner is acoustically rated, effectively reducing noise while allowing for easy expansion. Additionally, the spiral ducts are resistant to mold and mildew, with a temperature range of -20°F to 200°F and -20°F to 250°F intermittent. The inner core is self-extinguishing, and the ducts are available in diameters ranging from 4 to 20 inches. These products are GREENGUARD certified and come with a 10-year limited warranty.
