The kit is supported with a polypropylene (PP) scrim for easier handling, with the scrim bonded using a unique technique that utilizes no bonding agent to ensure purity and chemical compatibility, resulting in lower extractables. The hydrophobic material is effective in separating polar and nonpolar solvents, and aqueous solutions can pass through after prewetting with methanol.
