The Grade TCLP binderless borosilicate glass microfiber filter media features a particle retention of 0.7µm and is acid treated and multi-stage deionized water rinsed to conform to EPA Method 1311. It is inherently low in barium and zinc, composed of borosilicate glass, and resistant to acids and bases. This filter media is recommended for use in the U.S. EPA Method 1311 "Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure," which is designed to determine the mobility of both organic and inorganic analytes present in liquid, solid, and multiphasic wastes. The product saves time and reduces waste disposal expenses in the laboratory by eliminating the need for technician acid treating and rinsing procedures.
