Grade TSS is a binderless borosilicate glass microfiber designed specifically for total suspended solids analysis and EPA methods 2540C and 2540D, which test dissolved and suspended solids in water and wastewater. The media offers a high flow rate with high capacity and contains no added extractables, helping to eliminate sample contamination. It exhibits excellent wet strength and is also commonly used for gravimetric analysis of air pollutants, as membrane support pads, membrane prefilters, for clarification of reagent and buffer solutions, filtration of eluent for HPLC, and as moisture analysis pads.
