The Grade TCLP binderless borosilicate glass microfiber filter media has a particle retention of 0.7 microns and is acid treated and multi-stage deionized water rinsed to conform to EPA Method 1311. It contains inherently low barium and zinc borosilicate glass, making it resistant to acids and bases. This filter media is recommended for use in the U.S. EPA Method 1311 "Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure," which is designed to determine the mobility of both organic and inorganic analytes present in liquid, solid, and multiphasic wastes. The use of this media saves time and waste disposal expenses in the lab by eliminating the need for technician acid treating and rinsing procedures.
