Grade TSS binderless borosilicate glass microfiber is designed for total suspended solids analysis and is specifically intended for EPA methods 2540C and 2540D to test dissolved and suspended solids in water and wastewater. The media offers a high flow rate with high capacity and contains no added extractables, which helps eliminate sample contamination. It features excellent wet strength and is also commonly used in gravimetric analysis of air pollutants, as membrane support pads, membrane prefilters, for clarification of reagent and buffer solutions, filtration of eluent for HPLC, and as moisture analysis pads.
