Grade TSS is a binderless borosilicate glass microfiber designed for total suspended solids testing and specifically developed for EPA methods 2540C and 2540D used to analyze dissolved and suspended solids in water and wastewater. It features a high flow rate combined with high capacity, and the media contains no added extractables, which helps eliminate sample contamination. The material offers excellent wet strength, making it suitable for various applications including gravimetric analysis of air pollutants, use as membrane support pads, membrane prefilters, clarification of reagent and buffer solutions, filtration of eluent for HPLC, and as moisture analysis pads.
