Grade TSS binderless borosilicate glass microfiber is designed for total suspended solids and specifically for EPA Methods 2540C and 2540D to test dissolved and suspended solids in water and wastewater. The media offers a high flow rate with high capacity and contains no added extractables, which helps eliminate sample contamination. It exhibits excellent wet strength. Common applications include gravimetric analysis of air pollutants, use as membrane support pads and membrane prefilters, clarification of reagent and buffer solutions, filtration of eluent for HPLC, and moisture analysis pads.
