Binder-free glass microfiber filters are used for the determination of total suspended solids (Standard Method 2540 D and EPA Method 160.2) and volatile suspended solids. The 934-AH® filters included in the kit are pre-washed, dried, desiccated, and fired to 550°C, making them suitable for high heat applications above 550°F. Each filter is weighed to a four-decimal-place resolution, ensuring precise measurement. These industry-standard 934-AH® glass microfiber filters are ready to use and meet the requirements for use with volatile suspended solids (VSS) and total suspended solids (TSS) analysis. They are comparable to Whatman RTU series, Environmental Express Pro Weigh series, and Ahlstrom Munksjo 169W series filters.
