Grade A83 NanoGF™ is a chemically inert, pure binderless borosilicate glass microfiber filter with a particle retention of 0.5 μm, featuring over 20 times the loading capacity of equivalent porosity MCE or CN membranes and more than 15 times the flow rate, while generating nearly no back pressure compared to surface membranes. Composed of 100% borosilicate glass microfiber without binders or sizing additives, this filter exhibits low background noise in LC/GC/MS and very low extractables even in the presence of aggressive solvents. Independent laboratory testing and SEM image quantification confirm that over 85% of the fiber content ranges between 100 nm and 300 nm, making it one of the highest surface area binderless glass microfiber products available. The smooth and uniform fibers enable high flow rates and exceptional retention of small particles with high load capacity, advantageous for applications involving high concentrations of particulate or gelatinous substances.
