This kit is designed for viscose solutions or turbid liquids and includes a glass microfiber prefilter that raises absorption capacity and loading. The glass microfiber filter media enclosed is binderless with 1.0 µm retention, making it ideal for use as a prefilter in series with other syringe filters. It reduces clogging of the membrane, thereby increasing throughput and flow rate, and is suitable for dissolution testing and general filtration. The prefilter is applicable to all membrane types and is compatible with strong acids, bases, and organic solvents.
