The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Fibre Disc 1182C features re-engineered 3M precision-shaped grain, delivering increased productivity and lower overall grinding costs compared to other fiber discs and depressed center grinding wheels when used on mild or carbon steels. This long-lasting disc provides up to 60% more total material removal compared to the 3M™ Cubitron™ II Fibre Disc 982C, 36+, and offers a fast cut rate with high stock removal across a broad range of application pressures. It is designed to reduce exposure to hand-arm vibration, increase throughput, and complete more parts per disc during medium to high-pressure grinding applications. The disc is suitable for use with 3M™ angle grinders for improved operator ease of use and is also optimized for automated processes such as robotic weld grinding, enhancing uptime, throughput, consistency, and efficiency.
