This long-lasting fiber disc offers up to 60% more total material removal compared to the 3M™ Cubitron™ II Fibre Disc 982C, 36+, providing a fast cut rate and high stock removal across a broad range of application pressures. It is designed for grinding mild or carbon steels, improving productivity, lowering overall grinding costs, and helping to reduce exposure to hand-arm vibration while increasing throughput and parts-per-disc in medium to high-pressure grinding applications. The 1182C fiber disc is versatile for use with 3M™ angle grinders or in automated processes such as robotic weld grinding, enhancing uptime, throughput, consistency, and efficiency by improving product life, cut rate, and wear consistency.
