The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Roloc™ Fibre Disc 1182C features re-engineered 3M™ precision-shaped grain, delivering legendary speed and durability with increased productivity and lower overall grinding costs compared to other quick-change discs when grinding mild or carbon steels. This disc offers a fast cut rate and high stock removal across medium to high-pressure grinding applications, increasing throughput and parts-per-disc. It is designed to reduce operator fatigue by requiring less pressure due to its exceptionally high cut rate. The disc has a stiff fiber backing and strong resin bond that provide durability and tear resistance, suitable for heavy grinding, beveling, surface grinding, weld removal, blending, and robotic operations. The curved sides of the precision-shaped grain maintain sharp points for fast cutting with less pressure, while the disc’s design helps reduce metal discoloration and the risk of stress cracks. The disc is long-lasting and continuously self-sharpens as grain points break off. Specifications include compatibility with Roloc™ backing pads, and the package includes the fibre discs.
