The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 fibre disc 1182C features re-engineered 3M Precision Shaped Grain technology, enhancing the speed and life of 3M™ Cubitron™ performance abrasives for grinding mild or carbon steels. It delivers up to 60% more total material removal compared to the 3M™ Cubitron™ II fibre disc 982C, 36+, offering a fast cut rate and high stock removal across a wide range of application pressures. The disc is designed to reduce exposure to hand-arm vibration, increase throughput, and extend the number of parts per disc during medium to high-pressure grinding applications. It supports both manual and automated grinding processes, including robotic weld grinding, improving uptime, throughput, consistency, and efficiency by increasing product life, cut rate, and wear consistency. The disc is compatible with 3M™ angle grinders for operator ease-of-use and meets necessary performance standards to optimize abrasive processes.
