The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Fibre Disc 1182C features re-engineered 3M precision-shaped grain, offering increased productivity and lower overall grinding costs compared to other fiber discs and depressed center grinding wheels when grinding mild or carbon steels. This disc delivers up to 60% more total material removed compared to the 3M™ Cubitron™ II Fibre Disc 982C, 36+, and provides a fast cut rate with high stock removal across a wide range of application pressures. Designed for medium to high-pressure grinding applications, it helps reduce exposure to hand-arm vibration, increase throughput, and complete more parts per disc. The 1182C is suitable for use with 3M™ angle grinders or integrated into automated processes such as robotic weld grinding, enhancing uptime, throughput, consistency, and efficiency. These improvements contribute to increased product life, cut rate, and wear consistency, supporting both automated and manual grinding processes.
