The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Roloc™ Fibre Disc 1182C features re-engineered 3M™ precision-shaped grain that enhances speed and life compared to other quick-change discs, specifically designed for grinding mild or carbon steels. This long-lasting disc delivers a fast cut rate with high stock removal across various application pressures, increasing throughput and allowing more parts to be completed per disc in medium to high-pressure grinding applications. It is engineered to reduce operator fatigue by requiring less pressure due to its exceptionally high cut rate. The disc includes a stiff fiber backing and a strong resin bond that provide durability and tear resistance, enabling use in medium to high-pressure grinding projects such as heavy grinding, beveling, medium-pressure surface grinding, weld removal, blending, and robotic operations. The curved sides of the precision-shaped grain maintain sharp cutting points that slice cleanly through metal, wear evenly, and continuously self-sharpen as points break off.
