The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Roloc™ Fibre Disc 1182C features re-engineered 3M™ precision-shaped grain that delivers legendary speed and life, increasing productivity and lowering overall grinding costs compared to other quick-change discs when grinding mild or carbon steels. This long-lasting disc offers a fast cut rate with high stock removal across a wide range of application pressures, designed to increase throughput and complete more parts per disc in medium to high-pressure grinding applications. Engineered to reduce operator fatigue, the disc’s exceptionally high cut rate requires less pressure than conventional abrasives. Its stiff fiber backing and strong resin bond ensure durability and tear resistance, supporting medium to high-pressure grinding projects and making heavy grinding, beveling, medium-pressure surface grinding, weld removal, blending, and robotic operations easier due to the variety of mineral grades available. The re-engineered 3M™ precision-shaped grain slices cleanly through metal, wears evenly, and continuously self-sharpens as the points break off. This disc also enables cool cutting, requiring less pressure, which promotes predictable wear while reducing metal discoloration and the risk of stress cracks on mild or carbon steels.
