The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Roloc® Fibre Disc 1182C features re-engineered 3M™ precision-shaped grain that delivers a fast cut rate with high stock removal, designed for medium to high-pressure grinding applications on mild or carbon steels. This long-lasting disc offers increased productivity and lower overall grinding costs compared to other competitive quick-change discs, with a stiff fiber backing and strong resin bond providing durability and tear resistance suitable for heavy grinding, beveling, medium-pressure surface grinding, weld removal, blending, and robotic operations. The curved sides of the precision-shaped grain help maintain sharp points that cut exceptionally fast with less pressure, enabling cool cutting that reduces metal discoloration and the risk of stress cracks while requiring less fatigue from operators. The disc continuously self-sharpens, slicing cleanly through metal and wearing evenly.
