The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Roloc® Fibre Disc 1182C features re-engineered 3M™ precision-shaped grain that enhances the speed and lifespan of the abrasive, delivering a fast cut rate with high stock removal across a wide range of application pressures. This disc is designed for medium to high-pressure grinding on mild or carbon steels, increasing productivity and reducing overall grinding costs compared to other quick-change discs. The disc includes a stiff fiber backing and a strong resin bond, providing durability and tear resistance ideal for heavy grinding, beveling, medium-pressure surface grinding, weld removal, blending, and robotic operations. The precision-shaped grain slices cleanly through metal, wears evenly, and continuously self-sharpens as the points break off. Its optimized mineral and curved grain sides maintain sharp points that cut exceptionally fast with less pressure, which helps reduce metal discoloration and stress cracks.
