The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Roloc™ fibre disc 1182C features re-engineered 3M™ precision-shaped grain that enhances the speed and life of 3M™ Cubitron™ performance abrasives, providing increased productivity and lower overall grinding costs compared to other quick-change discs when grinding mild or carbon steels. This disc delivers a fast cut rate with high stock removal across various application pressures and is designed to increase throughput and complete more parts per disc in medium to high-pressure grinding applications. Engineered to reduce operator fatigue, it requires less pressure due to its exceptionally high cut rate. The disc has a stiff fiber backing and strong resin bond that ensure durability and tear resistance for medium to high-pressure grinding, beveling, surface grinding, weld removal, blending, and robotic operations. The curved sides of the precision-shaped grain maintain sharp points for fast cutting with less pressure, enabling predictable wear while reducing metal discoloration and the risk of stress cracks on mild or carbon steels.
