The Forney® Frontline™ 12A manual-style battery charger is designed for 6-volt and 12-volt lead-acid batteries, including STD: wet, EFB, MF, CA, deep-cycle; AGM; and gel types, offering two selectable charge rates of 2 A and 12 A DC suitable for utility batteries and larger automotive and deep-cycle batteries up to 120 amp-hours. It features a simple control panel for manual selection of output and progress monitoring, with a 2-amp setting for slow, steady charging and maintenance and a 12-amp setting for faster charging. The charger includes a fold-down carry handle for transport and storage, an integrated rear cord wrap for the 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m) 18 gauge AC power cord and 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) 16 AWG DC charging leads, and a durable steel housing for protection against everyday wear. It incorporates modern safety features such as reverse-polarity, short-circuit, overheat, overcharge, and spark protection to ensure safe operation and battery health, utilizing a stable, transformer-based output.
