The kit detects a wide range of combustible gases including gasoline, propane, natural gas, fuel oil, methane, benzene, ethane, butane, acetone, alcohol, ammonia, industrial solvents, lacquer, paint thinner, and naphtha with high sensitivity to identify small leaks. It is designed for one-handed operation and features a 16" (406mm) gooseneck for accessing hard-to-reach areas. The user can adjust sensitivity via a control wheel, and the alarm is set at 10% LEL for methane. It includes a tricolor visual indicator, audible alarm with variable tick rate, and LED alarm indicators, with an earphone jack for use in loud environments (earphones sold separately). The sensor is user replaceable, ensuring continued functionality.
