The Baldor-Realiance motor is a .33 HP, 1750 RPM, DC motor featuring a TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) enclosure and shunt wound design. It is equipped with Class F insulation and is specifically designed for use with NEMA Type K SCR control, offering a 20:1 constant torque speed range (except where noted). The motor includes a NEMA C-face and a removable base, although this feature is not available on explosion-proof models. The base is welded on Type 3513D only, while NEMA 182 and larger models incorporate a thermostat with normally closed contacts on the field winding. It should be noted that there are no dual mounting base holes on 35D, 75D, or 91D types. This motor is ideal for typical applications such as conveyors, printing, textile equipment, machine tools, and other equipment requiring variable speeds with constant torque.
