The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington were designed using the latest technology and incorporating a push/pull trolley. The results are high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that provide reliable performance in both routine situations and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that engages only when the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. Additionally, the hoists are equipped with a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on-time, a five-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake attributed to the fan-cooled motor. They also include low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
