The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to its fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features include a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that enhance trolley motion and minimize beam wear. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
