The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control with field-adjustable two speeds and up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional features consist of a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for a cooler motor and brake operation, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming factory load testing to 125% of the rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
