The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys designed for consistent performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key hoist features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is powered, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and extends chain life. Additionally, the hoists feature a fan-cooled motor that provides cooler operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly, compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley is equipped with a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to ensure smoother motion and minimize beam wear.
