The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a motorized trolley and is designed using the latest technology for high quality and reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key hoist attributes include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology with a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life. The hoists also have a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler motor and brake, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley includes a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
