The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and features a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key hoist features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology with a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized; a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays lowering starts and hoist operational time; a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life; a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor; and low-profile upper and lower limit switches along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for improved trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate confirming factory load testing at 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
