The Nerm Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a motorized trolley equipped with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive hoist, allowing for exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that enables speed adjustability alongside integral run time functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoist is designed with a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake system due to the fan-cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as per RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features consist of a highly durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that enhance trolley motion and reduce beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in compliance with ASME B30.16.
