The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and demanding work environments. Each hoist includes features such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, while a fan-cooled motor contributes to cooler motor and brake operation. Additional attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
