The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are equipped with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a maximum speed ratio of 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology that utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake, ensuring it does not release unless the motor is energized; a grade 80 nickel plated load chain; and a variable frequency drive that offers speed adjustability as well as integral count hour functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoist features a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that ensures cooler operation and brake performance, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
