The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with cutting-edge technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine tasks and demanding environments. The kit includes "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional features encompass a five-pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340 and are built in compliance with environmentally friendly RoHS standards, exceeding the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
