The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive for exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which employs a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized; a grade 80 nickel plated load chain; and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral hour count functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and extends chain life, a fan cooled motor that results in a cooler motor and brake, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. Additionally, the hoists come equipped with plug in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly and meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists are accompanied by a test certificate certifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
