The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and includes a motorized trolley designed for high quality and low headroom. The hoists incorporate several key features, such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. They are equipped with grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that tracks lowering starts and hoist on time, and a 5 pocket load sheave to decrease vibration and enhance chain longevity. The fan-cooled motor contributes to a cooler motor and brake, while low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords add convenience. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features include a robust pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that facilitate smoother trolley motion and minimize beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
