The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and comes equipped with a motorized trolley, offering high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, it features a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for cooler operation, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
