The Nerm Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a motorized trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive hoist, offering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, along with a Grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive provides speed adjustability and integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoist is designed with a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, and its cooler motor and brake are aided by a fan-cooled motor. Additional features include low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley is equipped with a highly durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for enhanced trolley motion and minimized beam wear. Every hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load-tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
