The NERM Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a motorized trolley equipped with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive hoist, offering exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. The variable frequency drive enables speed adjustability and includes an integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and total hoist operation time. Additional specifications comprise a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake performance, and low-profile upper and lower limit switches. The plug-in pendant and power supply cords enhance usability. The hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating.
