The NerP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington is designed using the latest technology and incorporates a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that provide reliable performance in both routine situations and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, it features a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
