The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a push/pull trolley and are engineered with advanced technology to deliver high-quality, low headroom hoisting solutions for both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian": smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized; grade 80 nickel plated load chain; a count hour meter that tracks and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operation time; a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life; and a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation. Additionally, the hoists incorporate low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and surpass the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has undergone factory load testing at 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
